“La dolce vita,” the sweetest life, is something we all crave. We want to taste life and all it has to offer. Yet so often, we live with a gnawing hunger for the one ingredient that we think is missing; an ingredient that we can almost taste but can’t quite grasp.

In this series by Ed Young, we’ll discover just how to experience a fully delicious life. And we will find that true satisfaction and full flavor is something that God wants us to have every day in every area of our life.

Yesterday Fusion took a little road trip down to the campus of Dallas Baptist University. They had a huge welcome back party for their students with free food and a concert. We headed out there loaded up with ice cold energy drinks and ready to spread the word about Fusion! We had a great time and talked to hundreds of DBU students. Check out some of the pictures below!

Living the Dream

Right now, thousands of men and women are striving to realize their lifelong dreams in Beijing. But athletes aren’t the only ones with dreams.

Some of us dream big; others of us dream small. And whether or not they’ve come true, we all know what it feels like to dream. But what does it really mean to dream?

Join Ed Young beginning August 23/24 for a two-part series that will reveal the potential behind our dreams, the ability to fulfill our dreams and the plan that God has to help us all experience living the dream.

FC Singles are headed to Miami!

This year, instead of spending Labor Day at the mall or by your pool, why not take a step outside of yourself and join FC Singles as we head to Miami? We will be helping FC Miami in transforming their campus for the fall. We will be doing some construction work on the building and helping with other projects on campus. We will also be volunteering at the services on Sunday.

At The Movies - Week 2

This weekend we followed the true story of a football coach in South Carolina who took a stand by reaching out to a developmentally challenged young man named Radio. Radio was seen as an outcast in his community and Coach Jones took him under his wing. By reaching out to Radio, Coach Jones gave him a chance.

Coach Jones chose to reflect the love of Christ to this young man. Look around you. There are people in need everywhere. It doesn’t matter where you live or what you do, they are there. Are you turning away from them or are you showing Christ’s love?

Who are the Radio’s in your life? Who has God specifically placed in front of you in need of someone to reach out to them?

At The Movies - Week 1

What are you afraid of? What thing or situation strikes fear deep in your core? This weekend Ed Young took a deeper look at fear and how it effects us by taking a look at the movie Jaws. By watching how the main character, Brody, dealt with his fear of the ocean we could put our fears into perspective. How will you deal with your fear? What would you do if you had to face your fear right now?

Remember you can purchase drinks and movie candy for only $0.50 each and take them into the service! What is a movie without popcorn? Singles Service Project Recap

This past Saturday 150 singles joined forces with local women’s shelters to make an impact in our community. We pampered the ladies with manicures and massages. We also gave the women a nice break while we took care of their kids for a couple of hours. We made crafts, played games, and ran around the playground. We also had teams that were doing landscaping, painting, decoration, and putting together back to school kits for the kids. All in all it was a wonderful and rewarding experience for all involved.
